Texada Aviation Museum and Library
The exhibits include training aids for the Aerospace Camp; aviation artifacts, a tool area, tributes to several local aviation personalities, a wind tunnel and a computerized rocket test stand. A favourite item is the famous AirBuzz Mk ll flight simulator that uses the same computer program used by many commercial flight schools. Flight Simulator time (not certified) can be booked (see below) for some flying fun by visitors. The simulator is suitable for adults and teenaged youth. Group sessions are welcome and can be booked in advance.
Please Note: The Texada AeroSpace Camp will be held in July 2026 TBA, and the Museum/library will be closed to the public for those days.
LIBRARY
A comprehensive library with over 1200 volumes of technical, historical and pictorial aviation books is a popular attraction for aviation aficionados. The library also has a wide range of original aviation artwork and prints displayed throughout the hangar. Annual library memberships are available upon request.
TIMES OF OPERATION AND BOOKING
Visitors to the Museum and Library are welcome to visit by appointment, Fridays and weekends for November/25 through January/26.
